Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Coordination: Work closely with clients to plan and execute various types of events, from initial inquiry to post-event evaluation. Coordinate all event details, including menu selection, room setup, and special requests.
Staff Management: Train, and supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and event coordinators. Ensure staff is adequately trained and motivated to provide exceptional service.
Venue Setup: Oversee the setup and decoration of event spaces, ensuring they meet the client's specifications and are aesthetically pleasing.
Catering Coordination: Collaborate with the catering team to ensure food and beverage service aligns with the client's expectations. Coordinate with the kitchen for meal preparation, presentation, and timely service.
Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, addressing their concerns and requests promptly. Offer solutions and suggestions to enhance the event experience.
Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, including cost estimates, pricing, and cost control. Ensure that events are profitable while delivering high-quality service.
Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, such as florists, audiovisual companies, and equipment rental firms, to secure necessary supplies and services.
Quality Assurance: Maintain high service standards, paying close attention to detail to ensure the event is executed flawlessly. Address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
Guest Experience: Ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for event attendees, including resolving any concerns or special requests promptly.
Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory related to banquet events, including linens, tableware, and decorations.
Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations with clients and staff to gather feedback and improve future events.
